For more than three decades, I have built a multidisciplinary career spanning information technology, healthcare, research, training, business development, and consulting.
My professional journey has included leadership, technical, and advisory roles across the pharmaceutical, healthcare, nonprofit, and technology sectors, with a particular focus on leveraging technology to improve efficiency, collaboration, data management, and organisational performance.
As Founder and Managing Director of Tishri InfoTech Nigeria Ltd, Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Cloud Technology Professional, and business consultant, I have led technology, digital transformation, web development, training, and process improvement initiatives for numerous public and private organisations.
These experiences have provided opportunities to work with professionals, executives, researchers, and institutions across Nigeria and beyond, shaping my perspective on leadership, innovation, lifelong learning, and service.
Teen Summer Camp Director.
As United Youth Camp Coordinator, I initially facilitated the participation of 10–12 young adults from Nigeria in the camp program in Ghana. From 2004 to 2022, I led the planning, organisation, and administration of the Nigerian camp, overseeing annual programs involving more than 70 participants, including over 30 campers (Teens) and 20 staff members.
The mission of United Youth Camp is to help young people develop a deeper knowledge of God and confidence in the relevance of His way of life in an increasingly secular and morally challenging world.
The camp seeks to demonstrate that a commitment to Christian values does not diminish the quality of life but instead leads to a richer, more purposeful, and more fulfilling life as well as expose them to other teens who hold the same belief so they don’t feel isolated in their home environment.
As Jesus Christ declared, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 NKJV).
- Pastoral Service Serving various Congregations of UCG in Nigeria
From my ordination in 2006 until 2023, I served as a pastor within the United Church of God, supported throughout by my late wife, Oluwatohungbogbo Tolulope Akinbo (1977–2024). Together, we sought to place the spiritual and physical well-being of the members at the centre of our ministry, serving to the best of our ability with a commitment to their growth, encouragement, and care.
During this period, I pastored various congregations, led Bible study groups, and helped coordinate national church programs and annual Holy Day observances. My ministry responsibilities also provided opportunities to speak both within Nigeria and internationally.
These experiences enriched my understanding of people, leadership, and faith, while allowing me to learn from and serve alongside dedicated men and women from diverse cultures and backgrounds whom God brought into our fellowship. Their mentoring, wisdom, example, friendship and love, even at my most difficult times in thus life, have profoundly shaped both my ministry and my life.
- Pastoral Service Serving various Congregations of UCG in Nigeria
Challenger Program. As Adventure Program Coordinator, I developed, organised, and directed an outdoor leadership and personal development programme for 16 to 18 adults aged 20 years and above in the cold mountainous region of Jos, Nigeria.
The programme combined backpacking, hiking, bouldering, rock climbing, wilderness camping, and experiential learning in a challenging environment designed to foster personal growth and character development.
The objective of the programme was to cultivate trust, resilience, endurance, perseverance, faith, teamwork, and servant leadership through shared challenges and practical experiences. Participants learned to work together, support one another, adapt to changing circumstances, and develop a deeper appreciation for contentment, responsibility, and mutual care.
Alongside outdoor activities, the programme incorporated Christian living principles, leadership training, and practical life skills, including strategic thinking and problem-solving frameworks such as SWOT, PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces etc
