God Is Always Faithful Regardless Of Circumstances

saiah 66:9 reveals a profound truth about the character of God: He never initiates what He does not intend to complete for good. Labour is painful, demanding, and often frightening, but it is also proof that something living and beautiful is ready to emerge.

When God allows a person, a promise, or a vision to enter the stage of labour (pain of any kind or trials), it means the process is purposeful.

Delay is not denial. Pressure or Pain is not always punishment. Labour is evidence that delivery is near.

Many abandon hope and God at the point of pain, mistaking resistance for rejection. Yet God asks a piercing question: “Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” (Isaiah 66:9b). The implied answer is No!. The same God who allowed the travail also guarantees the triumph.

If you are in a season where prayers feel heavy, progress feels slow, and strength feels stretched, remember this: labour is not the end of the story – birth is, and God has promised: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

This verse anchors us in the assurance that God’s plans are intentional, peaceful, and hope-filled, even when the present feels uncertain. Again and again, I have witnessed this reality in my life and in the lives of others: nothing fortifies a believer like the full, incontrovertible, unshakeable assurance that God is good – always – yes, even in the midst of profound pain.
